Sentinel Process Systems is sharing an important product update from GEMÜ regarding its Code 3A and Code 13 diaphragms.
Due to a supplier issue affecting one component of the previous diaphragm mixture, GEMÜ will make a short-term adjustment to the Code 3A and Code 13 diaphragm formulation beginning with batch 03/2026. According to GEMÜ, the adjusted mixture is being fully qualified in accordance with its standards, and extensive testing and application-oriented trials have so far confirmed no changes in form, fit, or function. Functional reliability, chemical resistance under intended operating conditions, and product quality are expected to remain at the usual level.
Availability is currently expected as follows:
- MG 08, MG 10, MG 25, and MG 40: Expected to be available from calendar week 26/2026
- MG 50, MG 80, and MG 100: Still in qualification
GEMÜ has also provided advance notice that, due to the ongoing supply situation, Code 3A and Code 13 diaphragms will be discontinued in the medium term. GEMÜ Code 17 and Code 19 EPDM diaphragms will continue to be available.
