Stainless Steel Filled PTFE Gaskets

This gasket design is used primarily in Pharma Utility applications such as SIP and WFI. In Food & Beverage can be used in extreme temperature processes such as fryer and hot oil applications.
The possibility of breakdown of seals can result in the presence of elastomers in the end user’s product. By utilizing metal detectable compounds, an in-line x-ray system, mag bar or a metal detector can identify potential contamination in your process stream. Seals of all materials and geometries can be used in place of non-detectable materials.
Typical Materials: PTFE/Teflon®, 316L Stainless Steel
Sizes available: 1/2” to 12”
