SONOTEC CO.55 Non-Invasive Flow Sensor

SONOTEC’s SONOFLOW CO.55 detects the flow rate of liquids in plastic tubes quickly and reliably using ultrasonic measurement. The non-invasive ultrasonic sensor has no contact with the medium and is particularly suited for applications with strict hygienic standards. The clamp-on mounting concept eliminates any risk of contamination or leaking.

SONOTEC offers two versions of this Flow Sensor. The SONOFLOW CO.55 V3 sensor has an anodized aluminum casing that can be cleaned with IPA or mild cleaners. The SONOFLOW CO.55 V3 sensor has a GMP-friendly stainless steel casing that can withstand the harshest cleaners including Spor-Klenz. This Flow Sensor also has an integrated display to show flow and volume readings.

Reads flow rates from 5 mL/min to 180 L/min
Flow measurement accuracy as low as 1% of flow rate
Tubing size ranges from 1/4” to 1 3/8”
Sizes 1” and up have a wingnut closure
Compact design with integrated electronics and no external transmitter required
With an intuitive color touch display that allows incremental flow adjustments, monitoring and resetting of flow and volume data in real-time, and provides status information and bubble alerts
Easy to use software for monitoring, calibration, and parameter set-up
Electrical connection is 8 pin M12 connector
Configurable outputs include: RS485, 4-20mA, 0-20kHz, PNP-NPN-Push Pull, MODBus
Direct communication to most manufacturers’ pumps
Custom calibration to tubing temperature and specified flow rate available on request
